Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Lamp & Shade Works online store. If you wish to purchase from our online catalog, you accept these conditions. Please read them carefully. Lamp & Shade Works reserves the right to modify or change the Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice to you.

Sales Tax

We are obligated by New Jersey and Pennsylvania State laws to charge applicable State and City sales tax on items delivered to a New Jersey or Pennsylvania address.

Shipping Restrictions

A flat rate of $20.00 shipping and handling will be charged on any order below $100.00. All purchases over $100.00 will ship free freight. Ground shipments only.

We ship within the 48 contiguous United States.

We are unable to ship to PO Boxes or military APO/FPO addresses.

Most shipments ship via United Parcel Service or Fed Ex.

Some larger items or orders may have to be shipped via common carrier. In this case, you are responsible for removing the items off the back of the truck to your home A responsible party, over 18 years of age, must be present to accept delivery and sign for the shipment.

Return Policy

All purchases are returnable for Store Credit. Returns will be accepted under the following conditions:

We accept returnable products within 15 days of receipt of the product if they are in the original packaging (including all packaging material and accessories). The items must be suitable for resale. A store credit will be issued once we receive and have inspected the item for damage.

Merchandise that has been installed, altered or damaged in any way does not qualify for a store credit.

The following types of items and orders do not qualify for a return:

  • Customized products
  • Orders more than $2,000
  • Custom quotes
  • Furniture
  • Discount or clearance products

Merchandise must be returned and shipped at customer’s expense.

Damaged Goods

Do not sign for and/or do not accept receipt of any products that are visibly damaged. If a product appears to be damaged, please refuse delivery of the item and notify our customer service departments immediately.

Any product that is received damaged must be reported within 48 hours of receipt. Lamp & Shade Works cannot accept responsibility for any damages not reported with the timeframe.Upon receiving a product that is damaged, you must contact us for a Returned Material Authorization number before returning the product.

We will replace all damaged products with the same product originally purchased if available.

Warranties

All products sold by Lamp & Shade Works are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. If you have purchased a product from Lamp & Shade Works and find it to be defective 30 days past the purchase date please contact customerservice@lampandshadeworks.com or phone (856) 401-1007 for manufacturer warranty information.

Cancelled Orders

You may cancel an order that has not been shipped unless it is a special order or customized product. Any cancellation fees imposed by the manufacturer will be your responsibility and will be deducted from any refund.

Pricing or Product Description Discrepancies

Lamp & Shade Works makes every effort to assure the accuracy of the pricing and product information on our website. From time to time, pricing or product information may be inaccurate. In such cases, we reserve the right to cancel your order. A complete refund will be made for any items that have not yet shipped. In the event of inaccurate product information, our sole responsibility will be to accept the product return and provide a customer refund.
